2 sets of CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) TWINX1024-3200XLPT PC3200 2-2-2-5!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I recently found out that I cant run 4 sticks of this at ddr400 because my motherboard limits it down. But these sticks are wicked fast. The timings on them are real tight at 2-2-2-5.

Here is the stuff:

What motherboard do you have? What CPU do you have? If AMD, what core do you have?

If you have a Venice core, then you can run DDR400 (all four slots) at DDR 400. I believe San Diego core also supports this.

If you rather have Revision, then I believe it is Revision E. Anything else (a, b, c, d) revisions DO NOT support all 4 memory slots being filled at DDR 400.

So, I'd upgrade your CPU, to a Revision E (Venice) cpu.
