Hello,
When windows 2000 Advanced server starts up it get's to the starting services dialog box and then pops up with a blue screen of death that says KMODE_NOT_EXPECTED unable to handle and then dumps all physical memory to HD and then reboots over and over again. I can't get past this and don't know what to do. I really need this system i have a dual boot of 98SE and 2000 Advanced Server, i guess it isn't that advanced huh....

Thanks

Might I suggest using an more appropriate OS? Like buying Win2k Pro.

Well, the best option is to insert your ORIGINAL 2K CD, and enter the recovery console and then remove the offending file, which will probably work. I have noticed that RAID controllers can cause this problem, also the "Use a PnP OS" option should be set to "no" in the BIOS. This can cause a problem on some systems.
