conquerors expansion and service pack 2

hi all,
i have updated windows xp on my computer with the service pack 2, but now i cant play in multiplayer mode, icant enter the room and enter game, but i cant launch or join in it. i stopped the windows firewall, modify settings of router (DMZ, port forwarding ecc...) without results. Before the update i have played without problems.
Help!
