windows vista

when you install windows vista on a windows xp home edition pc, will it format the hard drive before installing. Also will it remove/format a hidden partition? could somebody please tell me the system requirements for vista aswell! smile

You are given a choice of where to install Vista. Ideally you need so unused disk space to install Vista onto (4GB or more)
or onto a spare hard disk.
