SuSe won't import pisctures?

I am currently running (but not for long, if this don't change!) SuSe 9.3. I have a Kodak CX4310 digital camera. When I was using Fedora Core 3 or 4, or Centos, or Mandriva, these OS's auto detected my camera, and imported pictures effortlessly. This SuSe 9.3 see's the camera, but won't import the pictures. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get this working? I am using the Gnome desktop.
