Anyone crashing because of printing word or PDF docs?

Does anyone have a xp pro machine that crashes when trying to print a word or PDF document. I've researched this some, found alittle solutions, but none that work. Tried different documents, reinstalling,etc. Any thoughts?

Depends on printer drivers, version of Acrobat or Word.
Try Acrobat Reader 7 for starters.

Worked with a computer Tech last week and finally got Acrobat reader 7.0 to print after reinstalling and doing a update. Office word 2000 still crashes. I'm printing on a QMS magicolor 330 printer, but have network links to other printers. Any other thoughts?
