Services not working

Hi,

i am using windows 2000 sp4 .. suddenly there are lot many problem comes like iis crash,ftp (serv-u) crash all services won't be giving me a control to stop or start.. so i rebooted the server and iis and ftp works but i can't access to network icons and when i open computer management when ever i click on Disk Management it gives error " The Handle is invalid". also when i click on services and application it gives error like "Snap-in failed to initialize Name: not available CLSID: {80105023-50B1-11D1-B930-00A0C9A06D2d}"

to stop the service i need to kill it with pskill..

Maybe you have the worm that is targeting Windows 2000.

Try the Malicious Software Removal Tool.

Same problem we had, is was caused by APC software
