bold textim trying 2 netwrk 2 puter. i has xp the other has wind2000. i have them connt but i cant get them to communicate between the 2 im so lost please someone help

ok. Are you using a router or direct connection (Lan to Lan port) ???
You shouldn't have any problem using a router.
If it's direct connection you must use the Windows XP CD to set the network on the win2k comp.
If you need more detail just write back here and I'll try to give you the full step to set up your network.
