I've got an ibm intellistation m pro 6868 31U that is dual processor capable. It originally had a single 700 mhz P3 which I've upgraded to dual P3 933 mhz processors.

The dual processors are recognized but only at 700 mhz, not 933.

I've reinstalled the latest available bios from ibm which is supposed to make the system recognize the 933 mhz but no change is noticed.

My only thought is to take one proc out, update the bios, then see if the 933 is recognized in single processor before putting the second one back in.

Any experts out there have some other suggestion?
