Just the one SATA Drive on the SATA channel 0 black connector( not RAID, red connectors )
CDRW on IDE Primary 1 Master
Getting the 0x0000007B etc error on new install.
F6 driver is VIA VT6420 otherwise WinXP will not see the drive.
Any solutions would be welcome

Go to Via Arena and d/l the latest RAID drivers.
You need to create a drivers disk with both the RAID and IDE driver sets on a floppy.
Then restart the install and press F6 and chose both the RAID and the IDE mode drivers to install.
Don't ask me why but even if you don't use RAID mode, that chipset assumes RAID so you still have to install them during the initial installation
