ASUS A7V8X / Redhat 8 / USB 2.0 - Help w/ freeze!

Recommended Posts

I hate to start my membership here with asking advice, but I have browsed for hours the almighty google to no avail.

The problem is that USB devices freeze up the system. I have a USB 2.0 (buslink) harddrive, and a belkin USB 2.0 hub, and the computer freezes sometimes instantly, or eventually after 1 - 10 minutes after using them. I have a logitech usb mouse that did not seem to affect anything, but I went ahead and used the ps/2 adapter just in case.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I did detect a routing conflict with IRQ's, but that is about it... here is the USB info from my messages:
