bought a brand new Empire Earth II from Datablitz (Manila) and I can't seem to launch it despite it being installed already.

This is what comes out "Unable to initialize renderer. Make sure that Direct3D acceleration is enabled".

What does this mean and what is the fix?

Do I need the 128 GEForce MX4000?

What DirectX you have installed? 9.0c?
Check the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (Start->Run: "dxdiag") and under Display see that "Direct3D Acceleration" is Enabled. Not Disabled or grayed out.

and i played many years age of empire/empire earth II
the problem of the games is that they do not be able to
run on windows 7, i have contact to the makers and their
is no solution to. (that's is strange because other games
are running with an patch and are made for windows 95!)
