TV tuner cards with GNU/Linux

I intend to get a TV tuner card with recording capability since my VCR spoilt last week and a DVD recorder is beyond my budget. But I have no experience at all in this area. I was planning to get the LEADTEK TV2000XP since its cheap and pretty full-featured but have no idea if its compatible with GNU/Linux. Can anyone help me out here?
