HOW DO I RUN MECH WARRIOR 2: MERC. ON WINDOWS XP???

I got a just got a copy of mech warrior 2: merc. and I have been able to install it, but am unable to play it. Everytime I go to start up the game it just crashs as quick as i can start it up. I am really hoping someone can give me an EASY way to help me get this to work on windows XP PRO? I am really having trouble finding a thread that will actually work. I am hoping that someone can give me an easy step-by-step instructions to help me out???!!!!!!!!!! Thanks

There is no EASY way. You'll have to go through several steps depending on which option you chose.

Well could you plzz give me instructions on how to do so. Because most things Ive gone to download has lead me to several things to download and I am not sure on what to download for sure. I just wish someone could actually tell me witch link to click on and download. This would be great help in hopeing that the game will run soon!
