I know I am simply re-itterating what has been said before, so sorry to annoy. But I have followed all steps for day of the tentacle, i have downloaded Scumvm but despite my best efforts, scumvm cannot find the game in any of my directories.

I tried every directory I have, but it cannot find the game. I have tried long and hard, but cannot find the solution. Can anybody help? How can i get scum to find the game??

Try finding these files:

Day of the Tentacle (CD and Floppy)
MONSTER.SOU
TENTACLE.000
TENTACLE.001

Day Of The Tentacle (Demo)
DOTTDEMO.000
DOTTDEMO.001
MONSTER.SOU

Then run the scumm with:
scummvm.exe -f -n -pD:\DOTT\ tentacle

(Replace the "D:\DOTT\" to your folder.)

cheers, In the end, I had to delete and reload scumvm, i must have had a corrupt file. It works now... and I have already almost completed the game :p.
