EA Games 5-pack not installing

I recently bought 5-pack of EA games (Need for Speed2, Battle for middle earth, comand and conquer 2, 007, simcity 3). I go to install it and my cdrom spins up but it doesnt seem to read it smoothly. I go to install it and it takes over 2hrs to install a 700mb file. After it fully installs, the game wont play. Just wondering if anyone else knows of problems w/ installing ea games on xp (no sp's).
