Pocket PC & active sync issues

I have just reset my Pocket pc and when i try to sync via activesync it says the pocket pc name already exists.
I have deleted the partnership out of active sync and tried the current and a previous name but it still says they exist, .
Where are the names stored so i can completely delete them and set a clean partnership using my pocket pc name that works fine on my work pc.
