I have a dell that runs windows XP and I just found my FAVORITE game in the world - TIE fighter. Now the version I just got (stupidly not looking to see what system it runs on) is Window's 95 and 98. I have heard conflicting things on if it will run or not. I do have TIE fighter currently and I'm not sure if it's the same version I just bought (I'm not being too smart today) but when I try to play that version it skips, freezes, there is no sound and my joystick doesn't work. I have read somewhere that there is a program you can download that may fix this problem (toolkit 2.0 I believe), my problem is that I do not have internet access at home and when I download toolkit to my work computer I cannot save it to a disk to take home frown. Can anyone help me?

Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit 4.0:

If your home and work computers have USB port, then buy USB memory key. The 128 MB should be enough. I do not know their prices in where you live, but here in Finland they cost about 30 euros. The usb key is really handy to transfer stuff between home and work.

Thanks for your reply. I have an IBM Thinkpad at work and I don't think it's got a USB port but I'm sure I can download the files to someone else's computer that has one, thanks!
