i have windows xp and every time i insert sims double deluxe cd the sims intro screen comes up and then goes away after a few seconds. its as if the game is refusing to start. i have tried sims eraser, reinstalling and that didn't help. i have directx and have tested all my sound and video drives and they are all working fine. i have tried disabling my virus protection and it still didn't work. when i first got the game it worked fine for about 2 weeks then it stopped and i am still stuck. somebody please help!
