Why daos OneNote register twice?

I'm using OneNote 2003 and set to put an icon on the notification area. But when XP starts up I get two icons and a duplicated process for OneNote. Using a startup manager, I tried to disable OneNote one time from the Startup User folder and one time from the Startup Common, but then it disappears completely from the systray. I used the shortcut repair feature of OneNote, but the same old story starts again. Do I have wrong settings on my XP?
