In an attempt to fix some computer instabilities, I want to reinstall DirectX. I uninstalled it with DirectX buster. When I open the installer, it still seems to think that DirectX is installed, which is not the case. The same problem happened to me once before, when i reformatted my hard drive.

Run sfc /scannow to scan and replace missing system files including directx.
