Hi
I just upgraded from a Voodoo3 3000 to a Creative 3D Blaster GeForce 256 Annihilator Pro. I am running Windows 2000 (2195) and have tried both the NVidia drivers and the ASUS ones. Creative don't seem to have their own drivers yet.

The problem is when I try to launch Everquest. I get the following informative(!) error message:

"Error"

That's it, then it just doesn't launch. Can anyone suggest anything?
Thanks.

OpenGL or D3D ????

If D3D, try to disable hardware acceleration from dxdiag and you'll know if it's coming from the card.

Then try every driver you can find on the net (TRY THE SEARCH BUTTON). If not, suicide ?

Sorted it. I decided the easiest way I could think of was FDISK and reinstall smile

The GeForce doesn't support glide, at least unless there's a wrapper hanging round somewhere.
Can't exactly blame it for dying - guess it knew there had been a card by 3DFX in there before (spits).
