freakazoid 0 Posted February 22, 2005 All of my mpeg files created by ATI Radeon TV recorder produces the error window "Visual C++ Runtime Error!" when I try to open them, and shuts down whichever program I'm trying to open them with. There are 8 mpeg files affected, in 2 different folders, that vary in age from 2 months old to 2 days old. I played the older ones last week and they were fine. The problem started 2 days ago, immediately after creating the last 2 mpegs, which I have not been able to play, nor have I been able to play the older ones since. I've re-booted, restored settings to 1 week prior to problem, I've un-installed ATI and upgraded to more recent version...problem still persists. Even selecting (without opening) files in Windows Explorer creates an error and shuts down explorer. Any ideas??? Share this post Link to post
