i built my own computer and when i started it up everything ran fine but when i press del it crashes and my keyboard goes dead but everythings working fine i cant do anything because i cant enter BIOS can you tell me why thanks

i dont know what the BIOS is because i cant get in to it at all it crashs when i first turn it on but i will check the book o and im also a english geek as well

Are you using a PS2 keyboard, or a USB one? You might try using a different one in the interum, in leiu of the above working. Other BIOS keys are F1, F8, F9, (these are much more rare than DEL) or you might try using the DEL key over on your number pad. It could be something as simple as a defective keyboard, just a suggestion.
