SVGA or VGA?

Hey all.

I need to improve my video card on an old PC.

Which should i go for SVGA or VGA? Which is best and why?

SVGA.

VGA, Video Graphics Array
* Resolution 640 x 480 (with 16 colors) or 320 x 200 (with 256 colors).

SVGA, Super Video Graphics Array
* SVGA supports 800 x 600 resolution.
* The SVGA standard supports a palette of 16 million colors.
