When I tried to run Norton Internet Security it said MSVCR70.dll didn't exist, so I downloaded that, but now another message comes up saying "The procedure entry point __iob_func could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR70.dll." Could someone help me fix this?

Hi,

I had the same problem. There are at least 2 versions of the msvcr70.dll file out there. The one from year 2000 resulted in the same error message you received for me.

I downloaded a more recent version, and no more error messages. Mine is 336KB, dated Jan 05, 2002.

I would say to just reinstall the damn thing, if that doesn't work, you may have lost some core files in windows that are needed.
