My friend's laptop here is an old Gateway Solo 5300. It has an S3 Savage/IX w/MV vid card in it, and the drivers seem to be super out-dated. Checked the S3 website, but they don't have an archive section, only updates for their newer models. Driverguide had two compatible downloads, one being the original drivers, and the other being a weak update only a few months younger than the first. (both are nearly 4 years old, mind you.) Hoping someone out there can help me locate something at least a little more recent than that. Tryin' to get Dark Age of Camelot runnin' on this thing, and I think it's a definite possibility. Already I can get so far as the client-load screen before I get the "Renderer creation failed" message. Anyone help me find some new drivers for this relic?

Look at this site: http://www.savagenews.com/ It specializes in Savage drivers and info. It does have info on a lot of other things, but it has a forum and driver availability.
