Hey Im not very good with computors
So I need some help, hopefully you can help me

When I installed it (store bought), then I try to start it, it works upuntil character creation. then we I click "done" a error msg comes up saying something about :
DRRER_GENRERIC in file "D:\MM7src\mm7\code\screen16.ccp at line 2665"


Other than that Im running XP profesionall OS

A: You can do it manually by following the steps listed below to correct the problem:
Click on the "Start" button, choose "Run", then type in the following command: "Regedit." Then click on "OK."
Go to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\New World Computing\Might and Magic VII\1.0" folder.
Double-click on the "2dacceloff" setting (second from the top).
Change the Value Data setting to "1," then click "OK."
Exit the Registry Editor and start the game.
