I listen to alot of MP3 music while I surf the web. Is there any way to mute the sounds coming fi IE6 while not affecting the sounds from my MP3 player (Winamp). Thanks.

Should work.
Check registry @
my computer\hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\internet explorer\advancedoptions\multimedia\sounds.
should show (among others):
(Defult): (value not set)
CheckedValue: yes
DefultValue: yes
Text: Play sounds in web pages
Type: checkbox
UncheckedValue: no
ValueName: Play_Background_Sounds.

Now I'm really stumped. That is what my registry says, and I'm still getting sounds fro certain web-sites.

I think thats all I have for you.
Been looking but havn't found any other way of doing it.
Are you sure these sites dont have a mute key?
