Reinstall OEM version of Windows 2000 pro

Replaced my old Gateway with Dell.
Won't install Windows 2000 beacuse it was Gateway OEM.
Message:
error Bios not supported
This Product only licensed for a computer manufactured by Gateway inc.
Must be a workaround - I own the license, I bought it from Gateway at the then street price!

Any help appreciated

Not aware of any workaround. It may be possible to windiff the OEM ver with a NON OEM ver and determine what's changed but why do that if you already have a NON-OEM version? Unless of course you don't.
