Hello, everyone. Just found the forum and I like what you're doing - I hope someone can help me!

The trouble is this: I've got a Windows 95 game called Twinsen's Odyssey (also known as Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey) on CD which, of course, ran fine on WIN95 ages ago.

The game installs fine under XP and executes, but the graphics are screwy - about 6 of the game's proper view with some 20 interlocking horizontal bars screwing them up. The sounds work, the cinematics work, and even the gameplay works fine (what little of it I can see, anyway), but the graphics are simply not as they should be.

I've tried compatibility mode and playing with my DirectX and hardware acceleration levels, but to no avail. I'd love to get the game working, and if anyone could help me I'd be very much obliged.

Thanks,

underscore

Try enabling the 256 colour mode on the compatibility tab.

Check out my webpage at http://www.isu.edu/~sweneric. You might find something there that works. Also, check out the forums at http://www.magicball.net, it's a sight dedicated to the LBA games. Also, you can search for LBA2 support on the Activision.com website, there are some help tips there. Actually, I have a direct link to the support page for LBA2 on my website listed above.

Look into running the game in Dosbox.

Thanks a lot, my friend - Funny Frog's patch worked perfectly. For any who visit this thread in the future (and you all should, it's a brilliant game!), omit the period and comma from the URLs to get the sites to load.

Thanks again!
