ASROCK Mandrake 10.1 v installation problem

Hi
I have a problem with installing Mandrake linux 10.1 v on motherboard ASROCK P4i45GV with 2.0 ghz Celeron
I boot from 1 CD then i chose "Install or Upgrade" ...then during text mode, few seconds before installing in graphic mode computer freeze.
i have tryed command "linux noapic".I heard that should solve this problem but it did not help.
Please help me with this

Yes, and note where you got the installation cd disks, or if you burned them yourself, what speed did you burn then at.

Especially note what your video card is, or if it is onboard video.

Installation disk is a orginal version from computer magazine...i also have tryed another copy and same thing happend.
Computer
2 Ghz Celeron, motherboard Asrock P4i45GV, 256 RAM
80 GB
Graphic Card on Board Intel Extreme Graphic , Max. 64 VRAM
Audio on Board : 5.1 channels Ac`97 audio
PCI LAN: Speed 802.3u (10/100 Ethernet),supports Wake-on-Lan

The Mandrake 10.0 version is working on this computer...but while installing 10.1 computer freezes

I did a little googling on this & it seems to be the on-board graphics.
If possible I would add an an AGP graphics card & get away from the on-board video.
Your system performance will also improve.
I know Mandrake has made changes from XFree to Xorg to handle the video & I have seen lots of info regarding errors with your type of setup.

I guess my first question is, if mandrake 10 is working, why upgrade to 10.1?

What computer magazine did you get the cd from? Often such disks are not full versions of Mandrake. How many disks are there?

You stated that you also tried another set, from where?
