Skimmed through the forum you mentioned and johntidor.com and found it somewhat interesting.
I like this kind a science-fiction (or faction, whatever you name it smile ).

other than that it would make a great movie script

Sorry guys, don't agree with you there.
Unless the script has this bloke shooting 120ppl and bedding Ashley Judd (scientist), Natasha Henstridge (femme fatale) and Denise Richards (army doctor) in order to get the IBM 5100, nobody would watch or care.

Sometimes no matter how much fantasy you put into a geek movie can move it away from being a geek movie.
