Help with Drive Image7

Does anyone know anything about Powerquest Drive Image restore feature. I need desperately to restore from CDs to a new computer. I tried to use the restore files & folders feature, but it is not reading the CD. I don't want to restore the entire drive as this may interfere with my new computer OS. Any help is appreciated.

First the bios on the new computer must be set to boot from the CD. Second if the hardware isn't identical on both computers, you will have a driver nightmare and a mess on your hands.

Guess I'm in over my head. Don't know how to change the BIOS settings or what they are for!!! Think I'll ask my computer guy when he returns from vacation. Thanks anyway
