Hello everyone,

I was just woundering, in a couple of days i want to update my graphis card, in other words, buying a new card. which card of these 2 are the best for playing games.

Cards:

GeCube Radeon 9800 Extreme 256Mb : AUD $286.00
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb : AUD $343.00 or AUD $250.00 of Ebay.

Games:

HalfLife 2
Need For Speed Underground 1
Need For Speed Underground 2
World Of Warcraft

GeCube Radeon 9800 Extreme 256mb runs HL2 like a dream, you should be able to run it up to 1280x960 resolution, and seeing as your GPU RAM is 256mb rather than the 'standard' 128mb, it will be able to handle the high texture count/detail okay.


Don't know much about the ATI 9800 pro, but I'm sure the other guys around here do.
