i have gta3 . i installed it successfully.when i run it some video like intro appears then the computer HAngs! i tried on my dads pc it worked perfectly fine!

i have-
p4,256 ram,2 ghz .
my dad's pc has lower config. than mine but it still works fine!
HOW??Why??

P.S:can someone tell me the age limit for this game!some told me its actually 18+ although the box says 15+.

Firstly, make sure that your video card drivers and DirectX installation are up-to-date with the latest versions.

What video card has your machine got? Have you been able to run GTA3 before?

As for the age rating, mine has a big red 18 on the box.


BTW - Rockstar have just added GTA2 to their list of classic games that are available free from their web site. Wicked.

oops, sorry,what i meant was -some told me the actual age was 15+(in some countries)while the box has 18+.anyway, i think i cannot play this game and have decided to 'give it away'

and can an under 18 play 'that' game atleast?

As for the minimum ages, I think that all the GTA games have been classified as 18's on their release. This is in the UK, it may be different elsewhere.
