Hello, i do computer troubleshooting part time, and one of my clients gave me here computer, so now i have a free 60 gigs, and i've just started to get into C++ and java programming, i'd like to know which linux anybody would suggest for this situation. And i'd like to know if there are preinstalled compilers or do i have to buy linux versions. I just don't want to go out on the wrong foot. Thanks in advance smile

Most linux distros should come with the GNU C Compiler (GCC). Its quite a gd compiler. Some distros also come with graphical ones such as KDevelop.
