Hello,
I tried booting from a fedora 3 dvd but unsuccessful.
I have already set the boot options to boot from dvd-rom.
I got the dvd-image from redhat and burn it using nero. Is there any special setup require to boot from dvd-cd ?
regards
raphael

How did you burn the dvd, as a data disk or did you burn it as an image (in Nero file-->image)?
If you are not sure, when you look at the dvd disk's contents, do you see just the iso file, or a bunch of directories and files?
The other issue might be that the dvd did not download correctly. What size is the iso image that you have.
Finally, what version of Windows are you using? I assume that you downloaded the iso to a directory on the windows drive?

I have also experienced problems in booting the Fedora Core 3 DVD. I downloaded the iso through Windows and used Easy CD Creator to burn the iso to a DVD. I have been unable to get it to boot. I have been able to mount the CD and I am seeing the files and directories. It just won't boot. Any suggestions?

What filesystem is on your windows drive?
If fat32, there is a file size limitation of 4 gig. If the Fedora DVD is more than 4 gig in size, this may be the issue.
Where did you get the dvd image from?
