Time scaling on eax settings of creative player

I am using time scaling on the eax settings to practice transcribing music that is to fast for me to play until I get it down. Everytime I stop the song the eax settings turn off and I have to reset them again. Does anyone know how to make the eax settings for creative playcenter stay on when you pause or stop the recording?
