Hi,
I currently have the following configuration:
60gb HD Partition 1 - Windows 2000
Partition 2 - Windows XP
120gb HD Partition 1 - Data
I'm thinking about installing Suse 9.1 on to the W2k partition. Do i need to prepare anything or will it install without any glitches. If i disconnect my data drive with all my documents on it, when i install linux, (to prevent any data loss) i assume all will be well when i plug it back in after installation. Will it dual boot with xp ok?
Thanks

I'm running SUSE personel with XP and haven't had any problems.
If partitions 1 and 2 are set up as seperate logical drives,
you should be able to let SUSE format the partition for you
and set up with no problems.
If partitions 1 and 2 are not set as logical drives then I'm
not sure.
If you give a discription of your hardware (ie brand, processer,
memory,devices attached and/or installed,etc),you will get help
better suited for your system. What works "out of the box" on
one system may need minor (sometimes major) tweaking on another.
