Error at startup.... Win 98 SE

Hey,
I have a problem with my Windows 98 machine. When i start up it give the following message:

MSTASK caused an invalid page fault in
module MSTASK.EXE at 01a7:01009335.

Then i cant open any folder from the desktop.Not even the My computer icon works. Temporarily i use internet explorer to open up my drives.
Any help is greatly appriciated.

Try using REGSCAN from DOS to revert to an older version of the Registry.
Have you checked for viruses or spyware?
Have you recently installed or upgraded any software or hardware?
