Just bought used laptop and want to know best way to test it.

What programs etc do you guys use to test out laptops and to make sure all is functioning etc.

The laptop that is coming is a Sony Vaio PCG-FR130

AthlonXP 2000+
512 megs pc2100
GF4 420 16 meg
40 gig HD
CDRW/DVD
14" XGA
etc etc

I would run things like memtest, Sandra, and leave it running for a while doing one of the burn-in tests for a couple of hours.
You may also want to try a burn-in with the power pack unpugged, to see whether the battery is fubar'ed or not.
