Call Of Duty - United Offensive (Script Compile Error)

Hi everyone,

 

I have a problem with Call Of Duty - United Offensive. I start the game, select New Game, the 1st mission loads at about 20% and then it says Script Compile Error. I've googled around and are zillions of people with this problem. And noone seems to have found a workaround for this. I was wondering if anyone here has a solution!

I have the same error but dont know how to fix it. I am not sure if the solutions are posted somewhere or not. I'll post up a message if I find some fix for it.
