Adobe print problem

Network running windows 2000. Have a thin client running on terminal services. Prints from all applications other than adobe (acrobat6 or reader6). When a pdf is selected and print is selected the message "printer not installed". Anyone help me with this? Thanks.
(Adobe was installed using add/remove programs - i have re-installed it a couple of times as there was a problem with e-mailing pdfs directly from acrobat - this problem has been resolved).
