Mandrake 9.0 Install problem on compaq presario 2100
I have a laptop (Athlon 1600+ with ATI Radeon IGP 320 M).Im trying to install it from Hard disk. Everything seems to work fine until when it says
Error:Unable to install package xxx.This hapens after a lot of packages are already installed.Is the problem because of the installer not being able to read from the other ISO images i have on the hard disk.Do i need to specify them some where or what.

Are you sure that your disks are not defective? Otherwise, it should work without issues.

Do a checksum and see if it returns the right values.

If that doesn't work, try burning the ISOs. You might also want to get some cheap CDs to help Mandrake along, if you can afford it. It will also come with some nice documentation.
