today i installed woody ...then immediately after finished ...i briefly entered KDE then into init 1 and did an upgrade to sid with apt-get.
Problem : I was asked what manager did i want ...and there was no KDE there.Consequently it was removed from my sistem . I hate Gnome so i tried a :
apt-get install kde
which installed something but still the commands kdm or startx were not recognized .
trying dpkg -- configure kde
i found out there were some failed dependencies so i did
apt-get install kde-core ( or smth like that )
now dpkg tells me that kde is configured and installed
but still kdm and startx are not recognized ( "command not found")
pliz help .
Ps:i don't want gnome or anything else...just Kde
