prob in media player

when i play any vido file mpeg or avi any one.after some time the screen become black.only sound is playing.it occurs mostly when movie or song reaches its end.
plz help me.i have installed media player 9 codecs and divx4 codeecs.but it heppens with both media 9 and 10

Disable any screen savers or Power saving features in the Control Panels.

peterh thanx for reply.but
my problem is not that just only media player,s screen become black i mean i cant see vidio only voice can be heard.
when any vidio aproaching to its end or middle.
i m too much worry about this plz help meeeeee.
