hi,
i installed windows 2000 server on amd athlon 2800+ with VIA chipset ,whenever i change the diplay settings it says "the display control panel is unable to change the settings,the graphics driver returned an unexpected error" ,but when i check it shows as if the drivers are installed properly.

i tried installing and uninstalling several times but it didnt solve my problem.

any help would be appreciated.

What graphics card have you got installed, and what drivers are you using?

Have you tried reseating the graphics-card?

Also, have you installed VIA 4in1's? (I actually don't install these anymore since XP - but still)
