SIMS 2 Installation with S3 Twister K

heyyy! I just bought Sims 2 today and I'm already having problems installing...first of all it says that it cannot find the Direct X 9.0c components in the computer...I also have S3 Twister K chip...could that be a problem?? HELP!!!

Most likely you will need to upgrade to a separate graphics card. That onboard graphics solution is just not fit for many games, especially the latest generation of games being published.
You can try using the latest drivers from Via's site just in case there is a fix for this, I doubt it however
Also make sure you have DX9.0c installed as well

im so mad my comp says my graphic card isnt compatible with directx 9.0 its a geforce 4 (which is compatible) i even called the tech support and they told me to update the driver but i still got the same problem!!!??? some1 plz help ;( ;(
