[overclock_and_stuff]

Hi,

I downloaded the Mandrake 10 Community disc (1-3). I installed previously with these disc with no problems. I'm on the same system trying to install again and here's what happens.

- Freezes while checking /hda6
- Towards the end (using disc 3) it starts to report it's failing to install packages.

All disc are very new and disc three is in good shape.

I can get around the freeze during hda6 scanning by chosing to format this partition.

The hard drive in question is a Western Digital Caviar(sp?) drive identifies as WDC WD400BB-00CAA1

Anyhow I think I might try to delete these partitions from Windows and run the disc again after cleaning them. I'm also going to try to chose less packages so I can at least get inside of Mandrake 10 to troubleshoot this problem.
